Man, it is really hard to find good news these days. I’m not just speaking on my favorite topic, Boston sports, either. Yeah, the Patriots were ousted early and the Bruins are limping through the 2009-2010 season. The Celtics are cruising along and the Red Sox added a great arm to their starting crew… but I digress.
I’m speaking of the serious stuff, folks. The state of our nation’s finances and the changing economic climate that each of us face every day as we drive to our jobs, if we are fortunate enough not to have suffered from layoffs and downsizing. Watching the President Obama’s State-of-the-Union Address the other night was an eye-opening affair. Listening to all the challenges that lie ahead for our great Nation can make anyone’s head spin, let alone the world. Haitians need food, Iraq needs a government, Americans need jobs and the real estate business needs a life-support machine. Troubling times, indeed.
These are critically important times that will shape the future of our civilization just like 1776… truly historic. I only have to go so far as to speak of my brethren, the ground transportation industry. Some of my closest colleagues have had to downsize, sell vehicles or just flat-out go out of business. I think, like most industries, the ground transportation industry did not evolve with the times. When change was written on all four walls, the majority of limousine operators were left staring at the ceiling.
Before you jump off the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge, I offer you hope. You can call this my State-of-the-Union Address. There are successful ground transportation companies that have not only survived this contemporary economic crash, but have actually prospered. By staying ahead of the curve and anticipating the impending avalanche, the folks at ETS bunkered down and built a new strategy. We aligned ourselves with successful organizations. We found the right cities to grow our business. We rewarded our loyal clients with the best in service and savings.
We created a mission statement to base all of our everyday operations around. Our mission is:
“ETS International strives to provide the best in total ground transportation. Our high level of customer satisfaction shows our company’s approach to team spirit. Our Company motto is “The Customer Comes First.” The professionalism of our chauffeurs ensures that every customer leaves our vehicles with total satisfaction.”
With this motto, people naturally gravitate towards good service and the best ride. You can rise to the top by striving to be the best.
Here is more good news if you happen to live in the Boston area. Boston. According to a recent article in Business Week, Boston was named one of the top cities to ride the recession out (You can read the article here if you doubt my sources).
I could go on but I don’t want to overwhelm you in my State-of-the-Union Address. I’m a positive guy: we will perservere, we will get stronger and the Bruins will make the playoffs.
ETS International is carrying the torch for the ground transportation industry and we will not disappoint. Check out some of our immaculate vehicles by clicking here. Go to our website nad get an instant rate lookup as well.
Thank you from your fearless leader of the ground transportation industry,
Johnny Greene.
